L Super science fun was had during Science Week 2019 in the Senior room. We had rockets,volcanoes, mad bouncing balls and lots of other interesting experiments performed and enjoyed by all.

We also spent an hour investigating a murder using real CSI techniques! Chromatography! DNA! Electrophoresis!

We had a great day on Thursday March 9th. Lismore Mobile Science Workshop came to visit.  Here are some pictures of the Seniors learning about the Guts of Digestion! 

Here we are investigating static electricity with the aid of a plasma ball... opening flowers with capillary action... producing carbon dioxide through a chemical reaction... investigating acids and bases with PH paper... designing a catapult... looking at electric circuits.... and

We were lucky enough to receive a loan of a wormery for a week to see how these little wrigglers turn food waste into compost to help the garden grow.
