Our debating team have made it to the Area semi-final again this year. In the first round we opposed the motion that Every child of school going age should have a mobile phone and defeated our near neighbours Ballyhack . The second round saw us proposing that People should not keep pets against a team from St. Anne’s , Rathangan. Last week we successfully opposed the motion that Television is a bad influence and beat a strong team from Danescastle NS.
The next motion is Newspapers are a thing of the past and we will meet Ballon NS on Mon. Jan 26.
