A great day was had by our 5th and 6th class teams at the FAI soccer blitz in New Ross on March 26th. The two teams played some exciting games and the 6th class team overcame strong opposition to make it to the final of their competition. The final ended 1-1 and went to penalties. The boys were unlucky to have one of their penalties saved by the St Leonard’s goalie. It’s difficult to lose a final on penalties but both teams can be very proud of the way they played and everyone really enjoyed the day!
